is Vice President of Acquisitions for AWH Partners. In this role, he manages origination, analysis, capital raising and closing of all new investment opportunities. Prior to joining AWH, Mr. Vaughan held real estate investment roles in both the private and public markets. He previously worked in the Real Estate Investment Management group at Starwood Hotels & Resorts, where he underwrote new hotel acquisitions and asset managed Starwood’s $2B portfolio of owned hotels. Mr. Vaughan began his career at Millennium Management, a global multi-asset hedge fund, where he evaluated public REIT securities for a fundamental long/short equity investment strategy. Early in his career, Mr. Vaughan also played professional lacrosse as a midfielder with Major League Lacrosse teams in Denver and Boston. Mr. Vaughan graduated from Harvard University where he holds a Bachelor of Arts in Architectural History & Theory. He currently serves as a member of the Harvard College Fund and sits on the Board of Directors for the Friends of Harvard Lacrosse.
