AWH Partners, LLC Expands Into Dallas Market with the Purchase of the 536-Room Westin Dallas Park Central

NEW YORK (February 19, 2015) – AWH Partners, LLC, a privately held real estate investment, development and management firm, announces today the closing and acquisition of The Westin Dallas Park Central. The purchase of The Westin Dallas Park Central contributes significant growth to the five-year old hotel investment company. AWH Partners’ plans include a complete renovation, anticipated to be more than $20 million, to the 536 rooms and 42,000 square feet of meeting and event space. Spire Hospitality will oversee the reinvention of the property and manage operations under a franchise agreement with Starwood Hotels & Resorts (NASDAQ: HOT).

AWH Partners continues to focus on premium brand relationships through their acquisitions. “We are thrilled to expand our successful partnership with Starwood and we look forward to working with their exceptional team,” says Russ Flicker, principal of AWH Partners. “The Westin brand in a growing market with a significant value-add opportunity is right in our strike zone.”

With recent investments in markets like Atlanta, Los Angeles and Seattle, AWH Partners concentrates their attention in large cities. “Growing our presence in major markets like Dallas is very much in line with our overall strategy of occupying strong markets by investing in large hotels with big meeting space that offer an opportunity for value-add through renovation,” says Bernard Michael, principal of AWH Partners. “We are extremely pleased with the outlook for this investment.”

The Westin Dallas Park Central is set among many corporate headquarters and two premier Dallas shopping destinations, NorthPark Center and The Galleria Dallas, as well as the Dallas Arts District, creating the ideal retreat for business and leisure guests. Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport and Dallas Love Field Airport are less than 30 minutes away.

Featuring 42,000 square feet of event space configured in a total of 30 flexible meeting rooms, including an impressive executive boardroom and Elevate, a roof top venue with views of downtown Dallas, The Westin Dallas Park Central offers a state-of-the-art fitness center, an outdoor pool and complimentary transportation within a five-mile radius. Guest can enjoy authentic Texas hospitality at the Café In The Park restaurant, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as the inviting Lobby Bar.
